Message from the Chancellor

Welcome to Community Colleges of Spokane!   Our community college district is one of the most unique in the state of Washington. We serve six counties in Eastern Washington – that’s just over 12,300 square miles! – responding to some 38,000 students’ educational needs each year, as well the economic and social betterment of their communities.   We help residents of Eastern Washington fulfill their DREAMS, offering affordable, accessible liberal arts transfer and technical education programs. . . adult literacy and English as a Second Language classes. . . and customized, convenient business and community training.

We help residents of Eastern Washington DISCOVER their potential with life-long credit and noncredit learning opportunities . . . and specialized programs like Spokane County Head Start/Early Head Start/ECEAP, parent cooperative preschools and PACE (People Accessing Careers and Education).

And, finally, we help residents of Eastern Washington DO great things. Almost everywhere you turn – whether it’s a hospital or medical office, law office, school or other type of business – you meet people whose lives were changed at Community Colleges of Spokane.
