Research and Data

The purpose of the Office of Institutional Research (OIR) is to perform and coordinate the collection, analysis, and dissemination of accurate and timely information about the CCS district to internal and external constituencies in support of the institution's mission and goals. Toward this end, OIR works with data pertaining to students, faculty, programs, personnel, facilities and finance, and engages in assessment, research, and reporting activities that assist in strategic planning, policy analysis, and decision-making.

Conducting Research at our Colleges
All proposed research projects involving human subjects conducted by or with CCS faculty, staff, or students when facilities, services, or personnel of CCS are used, must be reviewed by the CCS Institutional Review Board (IRB). The review process is governed by the CCS Administrative Procedure 7.40.01-A and the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 45 (45 CFR 46).
