FACULTY & ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS

Community Colleges of Spokane seeking to develop a pool of qualified individuals for both Faculty and Adjunct (part-time) Instructors in all programs of study.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum qualifications differ from discipline to discipline. On the most part, liberal arts, pre-majors, business/office technology, communications, human services, sciences, mathematics, social sciences, counselors, and librarian programs require at least a Master's degree. Other programs of study may require a Bachelor's degree, special certification or licensure, a minimum number of years of work/teaching experience, or a combination of all.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Faculty: Our faculty positions are full-time/tenure track or full-time/non-tenure track with a 175-day contract. Full benefits include retirement plan, sick leave, medical and dental coverage, life insurance and long-term disability insurance. Academic employees are represented by the Association of Higher Education (AHE), which is affiliated with NEA and WEA. AHE membership or payment of representation fee is required.
Adjunct (part-time) Faculty: Compensation varies depending upon the assignment. Anticipated date of employment will depend on program need.
