BUS DRIVERS
OPEN UNTIL FILLED
Community
Colleges of Spokane is accepting applications to develop an applicant pool of
qualified candidates for two part-time, non-permanent Bus Drivers in District
Facilities. Hours may be very early in the morning and/or very late in the evening.
1.
Drive
a 26-passenger bus to and from special Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS)
events such as athletic events, field trips, etc.
2.
Be
available on standby list to drive bus.
3.
Wait
at the event for the return trip.
4.
Assist
passengers in loading and unloading special gear and luggage.
5.
Follow
directions from designated event leader.

Acceptance
of the responsibility to promote the welfare and best interests of students at
all times.
·
A
demonstrable understanding and acceptance of the mission, values, goals and
objectives of CCS.
·
The
ability to perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws,
regulations and goals of the institution, community and technical college
system.
·
A
demonstrated understanding and value for the contributions that a diverse
workforce can make to the success of the organization and the students we
serve.
·
CDL
with class B passenger endorsement.
·
Nine
years driving experience.
·
Two
years bus driving experience.
·
Current
certification in First Aid and CPR.
·
Random
drug testing required.
$11.85
per hour (September 1, 2007). Work schedule will be determined by the
supervisor. Total hours per year will
not exceed 1050 per year. Hours may be very early in the morning
and/or very late in the evening. Position is not eligible for benefits.
