Community Colleges of Spokane and the CCS Foundation lost a friend on July 11, 2009 when beloved Spokane Falls Community College instructor Mary Ann Sanger passed away after an 11 year battle with cancer.
Mary Ann’s enthusiasm for life and optimistic personality made her well-loved by all who knew her. She was a 2009 Spokane Teachers Credit Union/CCS Foundation Exceptional Faculty Award recipient and served as a faculty representative on the CCS Foundation Board of Directors for six years.
As a tireless champion for the Foundation and for CCS students, it is fitting that a scholarship fund has been set up in Mary Ann’s name.
