NE Washington Student Transition Information Project (STIP)

The Northeast Washington STIP is a unique and exciting collaboration between Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS), NEW ESD101, and many local school districts. The study combines individual students’ data from CCS and public school districts, and post-secondary tracking from the National Student Clearinghouse.

This in-depth study reports how high school performance relates to college success, how small cohorts of students fare in college, how many students successfully apply for financial aid, and much more.  We hope the study will be help write successful grants, improve college-going rates, and improve high school outreach.

These schools have already joined the study: Central Valley, Chewelah, Columbia (Hunters), Creston SD, Deer Park, Inchelium, Liberty, Mary Walker, Reardan, Riverside, Selkirk, Colton, West Valley, Curlew, Republic, Davenport, East Valley, St. John-Endicott, Wellpinit, Lind, Cusick, Newport.
