Travel Arrangements to the United States

Congratulations!  If you've gotten this far and your visa has been approved, you're ready to make your travel arrangements to Spokane.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security allows you to enter the U.S. up to 30 days before the program start date that is listed on your SEVIS I-20.  Please carefully consider the dates you're planning to come.  Do not plan your trip 2-3 days before the start of the quarter.  An important orientation program before the quarter begins has been especially developed for new international students and is not voluntary.  You are required to attend.

Spokane International Airport (Airport code: GEG) will probably not be your initial port of entry into the United States.  We do have direct non-stop flights from the following cities that are ports of entry into the US:

Seattle (airport code: SEA)
San Francisco (airport code: SFO)
Los Angeles (airport code: LAX)
Denver (airport code: DEN)
Honolulu (airport code: HNL)
Minneapolis (airport code: MSP)
Portland, OR (airport code: PDX)

Make sure and plan your travel accordingly.
