Fearless Painting Classes

NEW Fearless Painting Classes!

Learn to create paintings of abstraction, floral, and figurative subjects on paper or canvas using watercolors and acrylics.

"Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life." -Pablo Picasso

Elise Beattie, also known as the “Fearless Artist,” is one of CWCE’s newest Art instructors! According to Beattie, she was given the nickname as “fearless” by her students many years ago because of the techniques used in her art. She begins with a pouring process, which creates cloaks of acrylic and watercolor paints providing depth and imagination to the canvas-revealing Beattie’s interpretation of reality.

Bettie’s work has been exhibited in many art shows, both national and international and has been honored with numerous awards. This winter, CWCE is providing participants the opportunity to learn from Beattie’s expertise and techniques in these two offerings: “Fearless Painter's Guide to Using Photography as a Tool” on 2/10/2018 and “Fearless Painter: Open Studio" from 2/28-3/14/2018.
