CCS noncredit classes

General information
Continuing education programs presented by Community Colleges of Spokane provide lifelong learning, personal enrichment and career enhancement opportunities for adults in its six-county district. In addition, special programs and sports camps are offered for youth each summer.
Most continuing education classes are supported by the fees charged. An asterisk next to a price indicates a class that is supported by state funds and tuition is charged accordingly.
Enrollment in classes for adults is open to anyone 18 years of age or older as specified in WAC 131.12.010 Section 3, unless otherwise noted.  Children are not allowed in classes with parents, and babysitting is not available on site.

8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. (Summer hours are in effect June 21-Sept. 2. They are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon Friday.)

Community Colleges of Spokane reserves the right to cancel any class. Classes with low enrollment are subject to cancellation. A $7 processing fee is deducted from the refund amount. The following policies apply whether student attends class or not:
Student-funded classes
100% refund for student-initiated withdrawals three business days* prior to the first class day unless noted in class description. No refund granted two or less business days* prior to the start of class.

* A business day is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. (Note: Summer hours are in effect June 21-Sept. 2. They are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Friday.)

State-supported classes (indicated by an * after the class title)
The dates for 100% and 50% refunds are based on a proportionate relationship to the length of a standard quarter. In general, withdrawal needs to occur before the first class day or very early in the class session.
All refunds require at least two weeks for processing.  

To successfully participate in Ed2Go online courses, students need a computer, Internet access, Adobe Acrobat Reader and a web-based browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape or Firefox). They also must provide an e-mail address when registering. Some courses recommend or require specific software or a textbook. This is noted in the course description and should be acquired prior to the start of class.
