1.50.01 Organization of Community Colleges of Spokane

Community Colleges of Spokane shall be organized as an integrated multi-college district operated by a Board of Trustees which shall develop, formulate and adopt the policies of the district, and shall employ a Chancellor who shall implement these policies and be responsible for the management of the district.

The district shall have a central administration, under the direction of the Chancellor, and two colleges -- Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College -- each under the direction of a college president.

It is the intent of the Board of Trustees that the board, Chancellor and all administrative staff recognize that there be a close working relationship, both administratively and philosophically, concerning the operation of the district among all concerned, and that every effort will be expended to accomplish this relationship.
