CCS Trustee Ben Cabildo is founder and executive director of AHANA Business and Professional Association. He serves as the board representative to the CCS District Equity Council, CCS Finance Committee and the CCS Foundation Board of Directors.
In addition to financial planning and real estate investment, Cabildo has more than 30 years' experience founding, coordinating and directing nonprofit organizations. He serves on the Washington State Human Rights Commission and Providence Health Care Diversity Council. A SCORE business counselor, Cabildo is an ex-officio member of the Spokane Area Economic Development Council, International Trade Alliance and Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Cabildo served in the U.S. Army and is a Vietnam veteran. He attended the University of Washington and earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Lyceum University, Manila (1982). He also holds a NxLevel Business Development Training instructor certificate (2002) and completed Leadership Spokane in 1997, earning the organization's Nonprofit Trustee Award in 2003. |

In 2003, NCAAP Spokane honored Cabildo with an Excellence Award for leadership and dedication to community service. In addition, he has been recognized by the Filipino American Association (2003), Small Business Administration (2002), Spokane Public Schools (2002), Washington Department of Social and Health Services (2000), Institute of Neighborhood Leadership (2000) and the Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce (1999) for his work on behalf of diversity, equity and community development.
