Admission to CCS carries with it the expectation that students will conduct themselves as responsible members of the college community. This includes the expectation that students will obey the law; will comply with the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the district and its respective institutions; will maintain a high standard of integrity and honesty; and will respect the rights, privileges and property of other members of the college community. The rules governing student conduct and disciplinary action are set forth in “Standards of Conduct for Students” (WAC sections 132Q-30-101 through 132Q-30-500).
It is important that student concerns about instruction and non-instruction issues be dealt with expeditiously and in a collaborative manner at the lowest reasonable level in the organization and in accord with the faculty master contract.
