Early childhood education certificates of specialization

Students prepare for early entry into the job market or, if already working with young children, upgrade their skill levels. Course work includes field experience with children from birth to 8 years and requires students to demonstrate specific skill standards for progression. An early childhood education certificate meets minimum standards for Head Start/ECEAP education staff and Washington licensing requirements for center program supervisor.

Classes are offered weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings and online.

Prerequites: College-level reading and writing skills
