Worker retraining at CCS

Unemployed? Facing a layoff? Turn to CCS.

Worker Retraining is a partnership between Washington's community and technical colleges and the Washington State Employment Security Department to provide job training for dislocated workers, people on unemployment, those facing imminent layoffs, displaced homemakers and the formerly self-employed.

Community Colleges of Spokane has funding available to help these workers build and enhance their job skills, building a pathway to a new career. Eligible Worker Retraining students receive career counseling and retraining in a variety of technical career fields. Assistance with tuition and books also may be available.
